| Quaternary Materials Laboratory
| The University of Iowa Quaternary Materials Laboratory is fully equipped to carry out soils and sediment grain-size (pipette and SediGraph) and sand fraction sieve analysis. The lab also has an elemental analyzer for determining carbon and nitrogen content of any material and owns and operates a heavy duty Giddings© soil coring rig for collecting intact core of unlithified sediments and soils.
