Research Interests

B.S. in Geology, Biology Minor from Appalachian State University, 2007
M.S. in Geoscience from the University of Iowa, 2010

I am interested in the phylogeny, taxonomy, and morphology of various vertebrate groups, namely pseudosuchian archosaurs and laurasiatherian mammals.

My dissertation research is on the phylogeny, taxonomy, biogeography, and biostratigraphy of alligatorines. I studied morphological variation in Lystrosaurus crania for my Master's degree and am continuing to build on that project. I have also studied the tooth enamel microstructure of phytosaurs and other archosaurs.
