Research Interests

I am an invertebrate paleontologist working on scleractinian coral colony shapes. How diverse coral colony shapes can be generated, how they can be analyzed using shape descriptors and statistics, and how answers from these questions can contribute to scleractinian coral systematics in reconciling morphological and molecular data.

Also I am interested in developing new methods to investigate biological shapes.
